'Athoculture' 2025
ATS Valley School celebrated its Annual Sports-cum-Cultural Meet, Athoculture 2025, on 23rd November with great enthusiasm. The event brought together students from Grades 4 to 10, showcasing a dynamic blend of athletic excellence, rhythmic drills, and cultural brilliance.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Mr. Manish Jauhar, followed by the ceremonial flag hoisting and release of balloons—symbolising hope, discipline, and aspiration. Chairperson Mrs. Nita Jauhar and Principal Ms. Nina Pandey addressed the gathering with inspiring words, encouraging students to embrace sportsmanship and holistic development.
As part of the formal ceremony, the school felicitated the Chief Guest. Mr. Manish Jauhar then delivered an insightful speech highlighting the importance of perseverance, physical fitness, and balanced growth in a child’s life.
One of the highlights of the day was the recognition of the Grade 10 toppers, who were applauded for their dedication and academic excellence. The school honoured the outstanding achievers, including Prinav from Derabassi, the CBSE city topper for the Grade 10 batch of 2024–25.
The field then came alive with a majestic March Past as students marched in perfect synchrony. The day featured an exciting lineup of track events—including the 100 m and 200 m races for Grades 6 to 10, the Brick Race, Shuttle Race, and highly competitive Inter-House Relay Races for boys and girls.
Spectators were treated to a series of vibrant performances such as the Umbrella Drill, Ball Drill, Scarf Drill, and the energetic Bamboo Drill. Traditional and martial art forms like Taekwondo and Kalaripayattu added cultural depth, showcasing students’ discipline and skill.
Parents, too, joined the excitement, participating enthusiastically in specially organised games, adding joy and a strong sense of community to the event.

‘Healthy Horizons’
ATS Valley School celebrated its Junior Sports Meet as part of the annual theme ‘Athoculture 2025’,with the sub-theme for juniors titled ‘Healthy Horizons’. The event highlighted the importance of physical fitness, joyful participation, and healthy lifestyle habits among young learners.
The programme was graced by Chairperson Ms. Nita Jauhar, Directors Mr. Amardeep Singh Jauhar and Ms. Avneet Jauhar, Principal Ms. Nina Pandey, along with an enthusiastic gathering of parents. Addressing the audience, Chairperson Ms. Nita Jauhar warmly stated that 'all parents present there are the real chief guests', appreciating their constant support and encouragement.
The event commenced with the symbolic release of balloons by Chairperson Ms. Nita Jauhar, setting a bright and festive tone for the day. This was followed by a soulful welcome song presented by the students.
The cultural segment displayed vibrant performances, including the lively Chicken Dance, an insightful presentation on Healthy vs Unhealthy Choices, a meaningful act highlighting Say No to Plastic, the rhythmic Dumble Drill, a captivating pyramid formation, and an energetic Bhangra performance, which truly emerged as the showstopper.
Adding to the excitement, students participated in a range of fun and age-appropriate races, such as the Obstacle Race, Bunny and Carrots, Milking the Cow, Hula Hoop Race, and the entertaining T-shirt, Moustache, Shades Relay.
The event concluded on a positive and inspiring note, reinforcing the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and holistic development. The Junior Sports Meet under Healthy Horizons beautifully captured the joy, enthusiasm, and vibrant energy of the young ATS Valley learners.

Annual Day 2024
ATS Valley School celebrated its Annual Programme for the senior wing on 1st December, with great enthusiasm and creativity. The event, which was held with a grand gathering of parents, students, and faculty, began with the lighting of the lamp and a heartfelt welcome to the esteemed Chief Guest - Rear Admiral Sandeep Beecha and
Guest of honour- Mrs. Meenakshi Beecha by the Chairperson Ms Nita Jauhar and Directors Ms.Avneet Jauhar, Mr.Jay Amardeep Singh Jauhar and Principal Ms Nina Pandey.
The evening continued with the Annual Report presented by the Principal, Ms. Nina Pandey, who shared the school's achievements and milestones over the past year.
This year's theme, The Puppet Code, powerfully conveyed a message about the modern generation being "caged" by technology, often at the cost of valuable family time. The students, through a series of engaging performances, highlighted the struggle of staying connected in a digital world.
The cultural extravaganza kicked off with a vibrant Shiv Tandav performance, followed by a variety of energetic and colorful dances, including Moon Dance, African Dance, Retro, Daddy Cool, Prop dance, Motivational dance, Hip-Hop, and a patriotic number. The event culminated in a spectacular Bhangra performance, leaving the audience mesmerized.

’Krishna’ – A Perpetual Source of Inspiration Since Time Immemorial
ATS Valley School, Derabassi, organized an enthralling and mesmerizing Annual Function titled ‘Call of the Flute’on 30th November 2024 .The performances captivated the audience with a stunning theatrical and dance drama performed by the students of Pre-Primary, Grade 1, and Grade 2, bringing to life the legendary tales of Krishna, which date back thousands of years.
The students depicted popular episodes from Krishna’s life, including his birth in prison, Makhan Chori (butter stealing), Putana Vadh (the slaying of Putana), Kaliya Daman (subduing the serpent Kaliya), Govardhan Leela (lifting the Govardhan hill), and the killing of Kansa, all portrayed in a heart-touching manner.
The dance drama kept the audience glued to their seats until the very end. From Krishna’s miraculous birth to the joyous years of his mischievous childhood antics, his transformation into a young adult performing Raasa Leela with Radha and the Gopis, and culminating with his departure to Dwarka and the ultimate killing of Kansa, the story climaxed with the resonating words, “Yada yada hi dharmasya… Sambhavami Yuge Yuge.”
The performance was elevated by LED installations, creating a hyper-realistic and immersive experience. The interplay of exceptional choreography, lighting, costumes, sound, and technical expertise created an atmosphere that captivated and warmed the hearts of all.
The Principal, Ms. Nina Pandey, along with the school management, applauded the students’ outstanding performances. The event was a seamless blend of tradition, creativity, and technical brilliance, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

Events all the way!
Dated: 05th November, 2021
The month of November was joyous and filled with excitement as grades Foundation to 1 and 6 to 10 were practising for their Annual Function while grades 2 to 5 were rehearsing for ‘Masti ki Pathshala’.
The events were scheduled in the last week. Different themes were chosen for each grade based on which they performed. Yet again we conducted the events virtually and they were highly appreciated by all.

The National Sports Day
Dated: 29th August, 2020
The National Sports Day is celebrated every year on 29th August. Two days before on 27th August it was celebrated at the school premises, in which most of the students participated and showcased their talent by participating in inter-class and inter-house sports competitions.
Children enthusiastically participated in 100 meter race, kho-kho, shuttle run and dodge ball competitions.
The school vice principal sir and ma'am congratulated the winners and encouraged all the students to keep participating in forthcoming competitions.

ANNUAL DAY

Grades Foundation to 5 celebrated their first ever Virtual Annual Function. Children practiced effortlessly for many days and definitely put up a great show. It was fun to watch them on a virtual platform. The show was premiered via school's YouTube channel. The whole month's hard work brought spectacular results.

Students of ATS Valley School, Dera Bassi celebrated their Annual Day on 12th October, 2019 with great enthusiasm and zest. The tiny tots captured the hearts of the audience with the enactment of plays that brought to life the stories of – Alice in wonderland and Pied Piper of Hamelin , whereas, senior students from Grade 2-10 gave a mesmerizing performance on Harry Potter.
Music and dance added flavour to their theatrical performances. Every child participated and made it a beautiful spectacle worth a watch. The students held the entire show with commendable confidence, their convincing acting skills, charm and vibrancy. This speaks volumes about the dedication of the school in creating confident citizens of tomorrow.
