Quiz competition

On 30.8.22,Our two students named Sairaman of Grade 9 and Krishna Atri of Grade 10 represented ATS Valley school in sub divisional level Quiz competition on "General Awareness".This competition aimed to bring bright students from different schools and provide them a platform to show their talent. A total of 70 schools participated under 5 clusters. Cluster 2 was held in St.Soldier School Dhakoli where ATS Valley School won the first position.The team of two students - Sairaman and Krishna will now represent further.

Awards & Achievements
Saishrita Padhi of grade 10 participated in a National Level Online Examination: Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan- India’s Largest Science Talent Search for New India Using Digital Devices 2021-22.
The examination was organised by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) in association with Vigyan Parisar, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India on different dates.
She secured First Rank in the Mohali District of Punjab. She received a Certificate of Participation and a Certificate of Merit for her outstanding performance.
The school wishes her congratulations and we are proud of her attainment.

It gives us immense pride to share that Shrestha Shukla of Grade 9 won the 1st position in Golf Championship for Juniors and Amateurs organised by BOGEY SPORT, India and Middle East Tour. The event was held in Noida 🇮🇳.

Spell Bee

The 10th Wiz National Spell Bee Mega Final was held in Coimbatore,Tamil Nadu.Many students from all over India participated in each categories. Rushi Manocha of Grade 3 B from our school participated there and bagged 19th position out of 100 students from her category.It was really a proud moment for us.
Robomania 2019

Students of Grade 4-10 participated in a robotics competition "Robomania" held recently. Group of 14 students under different categories participated in this event. The two teams comprising 3 members each won second prize in Robo race and Robo fight. These robots were designed and constructed by the students only.
Inter School Spell Bee
Dated: 13 July, 2019
The Inter-School Spell Bee competition was held on 13th July,Saturday at Carmel Convent School,Sec-9 B,Chandigarh.Around 30 students participated in the competition and the six students were felicitated among them. Akshita Gupta(Gr-2 B) got the first position with cash prize of Rs.1000, Rushi Manocha (Gr-3 B) got the second position with cash prize of Rs.750, Samar Pratap (Gr-5) got the sixth position, Manan Saini(Gr 5) got the tenth position, Kanika (Gr- 6 A) got the second position with cash prize of Rs.750 and Akansha Verma (Gr-6 B) got the third position with cash prize of Rs.500. All the above mentioned students were also awarded with the certificates and medals at the venue.
Quest Olympiad
The final round of Quest Olympiad was a telephonic round.
In that round Rushi of Grade 3 got the 7th position in Math Olympiad and Vaidehi Sharma of Grade 2 got the 5th position in G.K Olympiad. Along with the certificates and trophies, they also got a gift hamper .

9th School Level Handwriting Olympiad 2018-19

The 9th School Level Handwriting Olympiad 2018-19 was held in the school. 81 students participated in this from classes 1 to 10. There were 3 categories. Category A consists of classes 9 to 12, category B of classes 5 to 8 and category C of classes 1 to 4. In Category B Akansha Verma of class 5 got 1st position,Amrita Verma of class 8 got 2nd position and Krishna Atri of class 6 got the 3rd position. In category C Rohan Budania of class 3 got the 1st position, Tiya Sahi of class 4 got the 2nd position and Seerat Saini of class 2 got the 3rd position. Consolation prizes were given to Arya Saggar of class 1, Mangeet Kaur of class 2 and Nevin Lohan of class 2. The students who got first position were given a trophy. The students who got 2nd and 3rd position got silver and bronze medals. The students who got consolation prizes were also given bronze medals. All students were given certificates also.
9th National levels spell bee competition 2018-19

The 9th National level spell bee competition 2018-19 was held in Kolkata at South City International School recently. The result has been officially announced. There were around 200 participants in each category from all over India. 7 students from our school participated in this and were among top 50th students over all India. Rushi Manocha of grade 2 got 31st position, Keith Hussain of grade 3 got 31st position, Tanush Arya of grade 3 got 48th position, Saundarya Singh of grade 3 got 44th position, Kanika of grade 5 got 24th position, Akansha Verma of grade 5 got 39th position and Drishti Verma of grade 5 got 44th position.
Intra School Golf Tournament

ATS Valley School organized an Intra school golf tournament wherein students were awarded medals for their splendid performances.In Group - 1, Kavya Puri of Grade 4th , Gourav of Grade 5th and Tanvi Sharda of Grade 4th were given Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. In Group -2, Shrestha Shukla of Grade 6th, Jasmandeep Kaur of Grade 6th and Arav Manocha of Grade 6th were given Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. In Group-3, Uma Thakur of Grade 9th, Rishabh Jaiswal of Grade 8th and Sukarna of Grade 8th were given Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
1st Open Tricity Sports Taekwondo Cup
1st Open Tricity Sports Taekwondo Cup - Taekwondo Championship 2018 was held in Dev Samaj College Women, Chandigarh. Three students of ATS Valley School, Dera Bassi won positions as mentioned. Ramanpreet Kaur of Grade 6 secured 1st position, Anushka Rana of Grade 5 secured 3rd position and Hunar Batra of Grade 6 got 3rd position.
Golf Championship

Taekwondo championship

Ramanpreet Kaur of Grade 7 has made the coaches, school community and parents proud by winning Bronze medal in Taekwondo Open Championship, Oceania President's Cup 2019, held in month of June in Australia. Over more than 200 participants from 15 countries took part in the championship.
Inclusive education at the school

Diksha of Grade 9, of ATS Valley School, being an excellent painter, has been selected for finals in the competition of "Kisme Kitna Hai Dum". She is a child with special needs and keeping with the spirit of inclusive education and providing equal opportunity to every child in academic and non academic areas, the school has always encouraged her to explore the talent in her area of interest. She has, even, joined her classmates in the rappelling held in the school during Kalpana (the school exhibition). She joined the school in 2015 when she was in Grade 5 and since then she has become all the more confident due to recognition of her efforts.
It is indeed a proud moment for the parents and her school community.

5th ATS Valley School Lawn Tennis Open Tournament
5th ATS Valley School Lawn Tennis Open Tournament was held in September 2018 at ATS Valley School, Dera Bassi. Dikshant, of Grade 8th and Bhavik Kaushik of Grade 4th both got 1st position (gold medal) in their respective age category. Ashira Singh Sandhu of Grade 5th secured 2nd position (silver medal).
IRONBOT- 2018
The inter-school robotics Competition “IRONBOT- 2018” was organized on July 28, 2018, by St. Soldiers International Convent School. Each participating school was required to send teams of three students each categorized according to their age groups. Students of ATS Valley School also participated in the following competitions: Robo-Fight, Robo-Race, and Tug of war.
The event is aimed at bringing awareness among students about the latest technology in robotics and their applications. The students were required to visualize, think, manage and solve problems related specifically to the field of Robotics Engineering, and science in general.
We are proud to share that our school won the first prize in the Tug of War competition. Congratulations to our team for their remarkable achievement!!

1st National Robotics and Technology Competition "Evolution-2018" – Inter School Robotics Competition

The 1st National Robotics and Technology Competition "Evolution-2018" was organized by Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, Panchkula. This is an event for education, technology, and robotics which brings students together to develop their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills through challenging IT quiz, HTML/CSS web page designing and educational robotics competitions. Each participating school was required to send teams of three students each categorized according to their age groups. Students of ATS Valley School also participated in it. The aim of this competition is to promote Robotics and Technology related activities among school students and spread awareness among them about the latest technologies, robotics and its applications. We are proud to share that our school won the first prize in IT Quiz, Tug of War, Robo Fight competition and 2nd prize in IT quiz and Robo Race. Congratulations to our team for their remarkable achievement!!
